Mind blown why we haven't given him an offer, you don't have to recruit him as a RB, recruit him as an Ath and use him as a 5 tool player. He can be used all over the field, this kid is way too special to pass on...

I understand Cam Akers, but like I said, offer him as an athlete, there are ways around that. And if Cam doesn't come here because we offered another player a scholly, then he didn't want to be here anyway...

Speaking of in-state running backs, Elijah Mitchell out of Erath is pretty damn good as well. Led the state in every major category while only playing in the first half of several games.

Can he play LB just joking. We should stop jacking around and offer this kid. It is hard to tell if Akers is even interested in LSU or any other school for that matter. He has been real tight lipped.

If we miss on Akers we will go after another running back that is big and physical. It's nothing against Etienne at running back but they have their shifty back already in Edward's Helaire, but I don't mind getting him as a utility player

Etienne would fit better as a motion player, slot player, screen Back. Somebody you can move all over, similar to how we used Shep
