I’d love to see the number we flipped on signing day from Clemson, Bama, and Georgia. Then compare how massive that gap really is. This is just what we have to accept is going to happen under O. It’s frustrating but it’s just the way it’s going to be.

Should be easy to look-up.

Let us know what you find.

We lost Hootie Jones and Sopsher but ended up with Jamal Adams and Ika instead who were both massive upgrades so sometimes losing players is a blessing in disguise

With the way this board melts every year, you'd never guess LSU had 2 national titles and several SEC titles since this site opened.

If they don’t sign with were they ever really yours? A lot of the kids we lost in past years didn’t pan out and we ended up with the better end of the deal anyways. I’m more concerned with getting kids here that want to be here and retaining those. With all of the uncertainty and a bad year I think we are fortunate with what we have. We can say this however, we never lost a kid we wanted to a HBCU like Georgia did this year.

I'm only "upset" (not IRL) when kids from LA slip away. Nothing these kids "commit" to before officially signing means much, it's all a fun game for them, and should be.

Is this about JoJo?

I can’t get my head around the melt level for a 5-9 170 lb receiver.

Then compare those loses to the pick ups and how each panned out.

It is mostly because he signed with Bama. LSU fans have a serious complex when it comes to the gumps and Saban.

But it’s not like LSU is going to be hurting - Hilton, Smith, Boutte, potentially Thomas. Next year you got Preston.

If bama drubs LSU like they did this year in the next 3-4 years it’s because they are cleaning up on the offensive line and LSU is bringing in projects/grad transfers

The fact that you don’t remember off the top of your head shows how insignificant when it does happens it really is. By the time LSU starts playing football again we realize the guys they do have are still really really talented and move on.
