I would rather have a bunch of hard working 3/4 stars that bleed purple and gold. We have won a bunch of championships with that at our core. Indiana did it last year. (Still undefeated right now.) We don’t have to be the most talented mfers on the planet. We just need to be talent competitive. And play the LSU way.

Underwood is a not just a cautionary tale but a lesson we should learn now. Giving 18 year kids that have been told their shite doesn’t stink all their lives and never had to work hard at anything millions of dollars, isn’t going to work out most of the time. And when all they want is $$$$, it’s a dead give away or tell sign this is a not an exception to that rule. Or an exceptional kid.

Do I want 5 stars, hell yeah. But I want 5 stars that want to be here, be coached up, be a tiger and win championships. If there are none of those available then let’s take 4 and 3 stars that fit those criteria. We will all be better off in the long run.

Geaux Tigers!

You do know we overpaid for our current QB? Kiffin chased him around the south when Washington’s QB fell through

Royal didn’t want to come here. We were offering plenty of money.

How many jobs have you worked for free?

You think Kiffin would've came to LSU for free?

Players are worth whatever somebody is willing to pay them... thats not up for you to determine

Those type of players have pretty much gone extinct. Today's players are paid mercenaries to collect the biggest check. It is what it is.

All that’s important is LSU having a number for these guys and sticking to it. If he’d rather play at Florida of all places for more money then so be it.

Georgia backs you up in their philosophy. Oregon, Texas, A&M have cut big checks with no NC wins. Ohio State with their spending should be winning it every year. Indiana was the exception to the rule in spend spend spend. I do believe in a mix. Some proven TP players but I agree in having a good portion of players who are semi 3-4 star risks that want to play the game and not just collect checks.

You just described Ben Bordelon. He got benched and if we had 22 starters like Ben we’d be 2-4 or worse currently.

Then you want unrated, 2 and 3 star players.

I predicted even before the #1 Dline recruit that decided to stay at Texas Tech that we wouldn’t end up with either him or Royal. We never win out with these type of recruits that only want the biggest bag. Which is fine with me because most of these money hungry recruits never turn out to be near what we expected.

Well you mfers think who spends the most wins every year but I hate to break to you but I know the fricking donor class and this “train” or hay ride is coming to an end at LSU like it or not. Sorry you shite for Braun’s cousin isn’t going to get 20 million to have Beyoncé play at your birthday party. Deal with it.

We don’t have unlimited supply of billionaires and they are tired of writing checks to be saviors and hero’s, then subpar seasons then ask to write more checks for no reward. Ask around it’s no fricking secret. That doesn’t really happen anywhere else in their fricking lives. When they pay for Ferrari they get a fricking Ferrari if they pay for a goddamn 60 foot Viking they get a 60 foot Viking.

This is not an LSU issue is a CFB issue and the current mess is not sustainable.
And it’s not the fricking LSU way to begin with.
