The man may not have a HC resume worth a shite (interim aside), but he sure as hell understands recruiting.....wait before flaming.

You need to understand that a lot of people didn't get the coach they wanted and are super butthurt about it(almost to the point of wanting him to fail so they can say told you so). Now they will attack Ogeron at every stop and never give him a chance. The guy is considered by everyone in the business(people that actually know football) to be a legendary recruiter. I'm sure there is something behind the scenes that will turn out well. I find it exciting.

Recruiting and evaluating are not the same.

O is renowned for being a master of recruiting. I say trust the process, let him do what he's good at, and wait for signing day before passing judgment.
Orgeron nearly destroyed Ole Miss Football single handedly. Orgeron was a supposed "Master of Recruiting" then, as well.Youre placing alot of faith in a snake charmer.

most that aren't melting assume it means Kiffin and Tua are locked in....one is a fairly safe assumption, the other...hmmmm
That would be a ridiculous assumption at this point

Unfortunately that proverbial catastrophe syndrome is creeping back into the mindset of some LSU fans. So, for those individual's, being patient isn't conceivable. As concerning the QB situation, LSU has on it's roster a QB who was rated a 4 and 5 star in high school and lost his position to a transfer who was a 3 star in high school. Point is, you won't really know what you have until the player gets to school and in the program. Brennan being the QB messiah people have been praying for isn't a certainty in any realm of reality. So, if he doesn't posses the ability, or doesn't believe he has the ability, to run the offense Coach O wants to install, then what use would he be anyway? Fact is, you won't beat Alabama with a QB who can't run. At least that's my opinion.

There is no end game, just hope that Brennan can come or he can land another highly sought after QB.

Chad Kelly is no Michael Vick

So going after the best quarterback in the country shows a problem with evaluation?
Posted on 11/30/16 at 6:10 pm to I am GLORIOUS
I'm glad he did so well and that this injury is not as bad as the one he had last year. I realize that your are strong Narcisse supporter/family member but the guy has had to have reconstructive knee surgery twice already. Face it, some people just don't have the knees. I wish him Thomas Davis like success.

Ed openly admits that he had no idea how to run a program at Ole Miss and tried to micro manage every little thing that his coaches and coordinators did to the point of interfering. Quite a few great head coaches screwed things up royally on their first go. The measure of any decent man is to learn from your mistakes and clean them up. Now, to call Orgeron a snake charmer is vitriolic and moronic and stinks of yet another fan who didn't get the coach I want so let's destroy this one. This 'snake charmer' is a man who has been coaching at the highest levels of college football and spent time in the NFL and you think what.?..?.that hes just fooled everyone for the last 30 years of coaching? Sorry for the assholishness, but I just can't figure out who you guys wanted to coach this team? Jimbo Fisher? Tom Herman? Guess what, if they wanted to be here, they'd be here?

IMO, Kiffin probably felt obligated to offer this kid a place at LSU since he's coming here.
Posted on 12/1/16 at 1:15 pm to km
Houston will not hire Miles. Kiffin is more likely to be their HC than our OC. O got it wrong!
Posted on 12/1/16 at 1:42 pm to RATeamWannabe
What happens if Kiffin get the Oregon job? Will O all of a sudden be on Brennan's nuts talking up prostyle QB's again?
It was just so fricking risking, and seemingly not a very smart move.

What if Orgeron asked him to do it but silently stay committed so that we could hurt bama or any other team by getting their QB also? Then after we get him Brennan ends up signing anyway just to help LSU out?
You idiots spreading this negativity have no idea what Orgeron is really doing and I assure you he knows exactly what he's doing.
