Huge weekend and crickets on the recruiting end?

- Top 10 matchup that was hyped all week
- Dominant* performance by the Tigers
- Stadium atmosphere was as good as it gets in Tiger Stadium, or the country for that matter
- Major recruits on hand getting wild with the student section
All this sweetness going on and nothing on the recruiting end....maybe my expectations were too high, but I figured we would at least get 1 recruit to publicly commit and be hyped to play in this system in this environment for their college career.
Have seen 2 posters mention we had two silent commits? Anyone have more info on this? Hopefully some big bodied baws!

Current class is almost full. I would have expected at least one from a future class though.

There is also the possibility that the coaches know things that they are keeping close to the vest. Don't assume that since it isn't posted online it didn't happen. We're rolling.

I was hoping for and honestly expecting a boom or two to close the weekend. I know this game is going to pay recruiting dividends in the end, so I’m okay with not having anything pop just yet.

Almost all our targets in 2020 have an extended process
- Harris (commiting in a month)
- Dumervil (Most likely NSD)

As someone else put it...."we aren't taking the first 25 to commit. We're taking the best 25 we can get". Lots of things are going to take place between now and signing day even a surprise or two.

there was a bit of activity, some official visitors and tons of unofficial visitors. All very positive after the atmosphere and outcome. tons of info on 247 and dandydon with tidbits as well.

Not sure if accurate but Dandy Don just happened to mention two prospects this morning very randomly and said he was confident that they would be future tigers and those were ...dt Gulliory and a safety Malcom Greene out of Virginia I do believe...If I were to bet, that’s where my money would go...

IDK why so many people hang on to the commit list so tightly. I mean, you can have 100 recruits commit if you want, you just can't sign but 25. As the season goes on and LSU continues winning there will be several high rated players showing interest in LSU. Recruits want to play on the grandest stage of all, and that's the CFP. And as soon as LSU gets does there will be a lot of high rated recruits wanting to play at LSU.

Soon there will be an update, but of course it’s all very fluid and we will have to see how it plays out but the coaches feel really good about where things stand
