re: HUGE Portal Update

Is LSU in on Jalen Srtoman(safety from VT) or the Branch brothers from USC that just so happened to be a really good WR and the other brother a safety?

I'm starting to feel like Ole Miss last year buying everything they could to win a championship and the screwed the pooch. They spent a ton of money on portal.

Well Ole Miss also has a coach that won’t kick a FG. Until he grows up and takes what the opponent gives him, he’ll never win big.

They’ve got (or had) the talent but he makes some head-scratching decisions in moments where head-scratching decisions aren’t necessary. He’s too aggressive and over-confident and he never learns. Ironically, his butthole puckers at the end of games and he goes against what he does in the first 3 quarters,

Stfu idiot. He's been pretty spot on with his predictions thus far and some of us don't have access to the pay wall sites or any contacts with people in the know. So, obviously, any info that he or anyone else passes along to us on to those of us on this site is much appreciated. I don't give a damn where/how he gets it or what he does to provide the info. frick off.

Man if we end up with Moore-C (Va. Tech), Mitchell-DT (Texas) and Payton-DE (FSU) which would be massive to get Payton, then BK is going all in next year. Period. I know we need another OL (left Tackle) and 2 safeties, with that position needing a ballhawk---- then I will believe BK meant next year going for the championship...

Despite what people want to think, Kelly left ND because he wants to win a championship before his career is over. He'll be 64 years old in the middle of next season and he knows his window to win that championship is closing sooner rather than later. Plus, he probably doesn't love coaching in this current free-for-all environment. In a former era of college football year 3 was probably the year coaches felt their culture had taken hold and their recruits were developing into productive veteran players. We don't live in that era any longer and year 3 turned out to be BK's worst season at LSU.

Ahead of 2025 he knew he had the most valuable piece of the puzzle, a returning, productive, starting QB. Teams don't have that every season. He blew that opportunity in 2023 and is probably determined to do everything possible to not do it again. That's why he's been aggressive to sign players that hopefully can come in and be impact players immediately. Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss, all seem likely to lose their starting QBs after this season. That means just like in 2023 LSU may have the best starting QB in the league. He's determined to not frick that up again by having below-par personnel on one side of the ball.
