The Howards love LSU, but they have to lookout for themselves. If LSU hires an offensive/QB guru as expected, they will come back.

He was committed to a shrimp boat captain and 1st year OC who looks like he's better suited for the HS level.

Beat me to it.

If him staying depends on LSU hiring some offensive guru as head coach, then why the hell was he still committed to O????

Simple logic would tell you he should be more excited going forward to come to LSU if we hit a home run. I think these kids still want to come to LSU, but the fear of the unknown has them a little skittish.

Heard he doesn't want Riley as HC.

If Howard is leaving because Riley truly is going to be our next coach, then I couldn't care less. Bye.

Riley regularly brings in 5 star QBs from all over the country, year in and year out. This is one of the reasons he's likely being pursued by Woodward.

Losing Howard isn't a big deal at all if our next head coach is Riley.

Here's the 5 star QB that Riley already has committed for 2023. You lose Howard, yet you bring in stud QBs like this almost every year.

If Howard goes Bech will too. That was a solid pair when they played together. Almost a Burrow/Chase 2.0

I'm not sure why he'd go to ND. They aren't exactly known for putting up great QB stats.
2021: ND 17 TDs; LSU 21
2020: ND 15; LSU 24 (3 different QBs)
2019: ND 37; LSU 61
2018: ND 23; LSU 17

Since 2019 when LSU changed it's offensive philosophy we've produced at a higher level despite changing OCs and QBs.

All will be fine…everyone needs to chill. This is par for the course for a coaching change

Yes there is uncertainty right now, unfortunately that’s part of it. In about a month things will start to have more clarity then everyone (including Howard) can move forward.

They are great friends, but Bech is his own man and his family is as "LSU" as anyone's.

If LSU makes a homerun hire, as expected, they will have a hard-time leaving.

If i recall correctly, Brennan de-committed for a period after Les was fired and was acting like he was going to Okie State or something. As long as the HC hire is solid we should be fine.

True. But Bech’s family was LSU pre NIL. Notre Dame has all of their games aired on ABC. In today’s college football world that attracts a lot of attention

I believe the 247 guys and local media here. The Howards are doing their due diligence just in case LSU makes some out of left field hire that doesn't fit Walker's style of play. If they make a hire that fits him, he's a Tiger.

Riley would win him a Heisman. Yet, he doesn’t want to play with him because “muh dual threat”

Baker didn’t run that much.

How? The season is still going on.. Any good coach on Woodys radar is not going to tank their current season to say they’re going to LSU

Has this come from anywhere other than a local BR media guy's podcast?

Brian Kelly has as much of a dual threat offense as Riley does. Oh, and then Howard's looking at Ole Miss, where Corral gets beat to shite every single game.

Give me a break with this lazy-arse narrative.
