If by "40 year drought" you mean like 20-25 bowl games including 4 Sugar Bowls, yeah I guess so...

We have way too many elite safety prospects and not nearly enough CB interest, iyam.
Outside of safety Paris possibly switching to CB, there's still Voorhies, Hootie Jones, Jabrill Peppers, and Jamal Adams. If Paris doesn't switch, there's 5 guys fighting for 2 spots. Someone eventually will end up transferring or decommitting before signing day.
Whereas at CB, we have only Tony Brown, Adoree Jackson & commit Hardeman as CB's and no real guarantee to get all three.

Agreed. We have a shot at Voorhies because of this. I think if we can get him to campus with some other OM leans we might get him to switch but its an uphill battle.

? It's very possible that Voorhies and Hootie Jones could be our only 2 safeties in this class. The rest of the guys we are really after hard are corners
