People don't understand this. We've got some highly regarded younger players on the roster and 2021 should provide an opportunity for some of them to step to the plate.

Nope he’s undersized regardless of the his height and weight. Gotta love the blind narrative guy.

AL, Clemson and Ohio State have the Ivy League OL transfers at the top of their lists too.
Pretty disappointing when you take a step back and think about it. Top level SEC team having to recruit Ivy League transfers to put an OL together.

Let's be honest we are pathetic at recruiting offensive linemen for a team that averages top 5 in recruiting overall.

Look on nfl rosters, there are a lot of linemen from small schools. Saints start one from HARVARD and one from Arkansas pine bluff.

Virtually all major colleges recruit the transfer market to fill roster holes. Ohio State recently took an OL transfer from Rutgers.

Alabama has taken transfers from Bowling Green and Air Force.

It’s part of modern college football.

I thank God daily that I am not miserable like some guys on here, I will gladly bet anyone in here a legit $1K that if he isn’t injured he will be a minimum 4th round NFL guy, more likely 2-3 rounds. He is an immediate starting guard. We will also sign 2 more very talented tackle prospects, but carry on with the moaning. True Tiger fans know what is really up. Merry Christmas to all Tiger Nation !!!!!!!!

Same here. Many here just aren’t satisfied with any football related news. They’d prefer to bitch and complain, instead of trying to see how the holes can be filled by quality players, no matter their current affiliation. If they can play then let’s go get them. Some LSU fans see a small school and automatically think small player, which is ignorant to say the least.

For years LSU has had (mostly) BIG plodding OL. Great for a downhill running attack, but not athletic enough to do much else. The NFL wants athletic OL who can get out and move. Particularly at tackle. 315 at 6’4 isn’t bothersome if he’s strong enough to compete.

It’s not that they are miserable, it’s that they don’t know anything about football. This would be a great pickup

We actually need to get leaner up front. We are way too thick at guard and right tackle.

Maybe you should realize how hard it is to groom these big guys. At every level in college after a couple years of hard work and development these guys were missed by the better P5 schools.
That’s why they get scooped up a few years later by all schools not just LSU. I hope we keep doing this with misses and injuries we might have to.

You mean for many years when Les Miles was the head coach, LSU had big road grading offensive guards who couldn't pass block if their life depended on it playing offensive tackle.
