That's $291,600.00 for 4yrs of HS (if boarded) or $230,400 if just going during the day. That's nucking futs.

I'm sure there are scholarships but dammmnnnn.

No wonder most kids just go their JR and SR years.

Scholarship, they dont pay shite

It's a great idea by IMG. Make your school famous by plucking the top recruits around the country to come to your school and play the top teams around the country to recruit more kids. They go for free or little cost while the rich kids parents foot the bill.

IMG is also a sports agency

They get in early with the kids in hoping they make it professionally then make the money back that way.

They killed it in golf/tennis early on and have progressed to other sports.

They get better assistance in Florida than Louisiana unfortunately and some kids are there because their Mommy and Daddy have the money and they think their kids are football players. I am sure that happens time to time, more likely not. They just get to rub elbows with some of the great High School players.

The reason it costs $70K is because that's what a non-elite athlete pays. That tuition pays for two kids: (a) rich kid who is a decent athlete and his parents are willing to pay for the best facilities, coaching etc. in hopes it helps him get to play in college and (b) an elite athlete who is already expected to be a professional player three or four years hence.

And that's okay by me. So long as they are welcoming of the LSU coaches.

The same way my old HS did. We would recruit inner city kids from all over to play football (scholorship, we are good catholics after-all...) while everyone else footed the bill

I remember Madre London (MSU RB) was from Little Rock and Rashad Greene (Jax WR) was from Atlanta.

The parents of the rich kids(the golfers, tennis players, soccer players etc.) subsidize the football team. The reverse of how CFB pays for the podunk sports at every major college.
