Please list the kids from NELA that have ever played for Ohio State.

I've lived in West Monroe, Lafayette, New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Shreveport and I can tell you without a doubt - West Monroe is the 2nd most pro-LSU city in the state behind only Baton Rouge.
The reason LSU hasn't had a ton of success up there lately is because of 2 reasons-
1. Their best recruiters have been assigned to South Louisiana, Houston and Florida.
2. They simply have slowed on recruiting the area and TCU is one school that has benefited greatly. Also Saban has made the I-20 corridor to Dallas a priority while Les has been more focused on the River Parishes, Houston and Florida.
I'm not saying either strategy is better, but the ignorance to LSU fandom throughout the state irks the piss out of me.

It's not a foregone conclusion that he will be a Tiger but I'm very confident he will land here. Don't forget that is a long way from home and I believe Urban has never been able to pull a recruit from Louisiana.

Apparently the Neville coaches are telling RL that they think OSU is the best fit for football and academics for him.
And the first time RL and Miles ever spoke was at his OV.

If people are saying this, they're making shite up.

And if the coaches are telling him this, it's for some reason other than having his best interest at heart.

That's coming from The OHST 24/7 board. They had an update saying that Neville coaches aren't fond of Les Miles and that they think that OSU is a better fit for him. Also they said that the first time Les spoke with Rashard was on his OV.

And there is that reason that is something other than looking out for Lawrence.

Done deal!! You might as well put him in purple and gold. I am 150% sure he puts on an LSU hat tomorrow.

I don't see how you can be a 100% when Urban and several other coaches made a trip down this late in the recruiting, there has to be at least some interest shown in OSU or Urban would never make that trip !! I'm not saying that OSU is gonna get him but to say it's a 100% is ridiculous

The NT in a one-gap scheme does not have to eat up blockers in the same way a two-gapper has to. From what I've heard and seen, I think he would fit just fine into Aranda's plans.

LSU has a history of playing the best player (save for QBs)
They have a history of playing who they think is the best, not who some clown on a message board thinks is the best.

Anybody know if anyone on the Neville staff might be engaged in giving this type of advice?

While I would have liked Turpin to get an offer, if he wanted one over Lanard, he should have had an older brother that was better at football.
Dillon I can see being an argument. Still, IMO, the best argument is against Brandon Martin, who never stepped on the field here. Lanard, pssh.

Let's delete this thread. People forget recruits and parents read this board
