How bad do recruits who rejected LSU 3 years ago feel right now?

They could have been on this team.

Cam Akers for example.

Oh, and Surtain's business decision. Went to Bama to win championships because he couldn't do that at LSU

Ol Big Marv. What could’ve been. And now he’s playing in the Tony the Tiger Sun Bowl

Seriously..

Would have loved to have Cam Akers but thank God Pat Surtain didn’t come here! He’s definitely in the right place..

It will warm your hearts to know that after Jimbo bailed on FSU he (Marv) put out a feeler to see if he could transfer to LSU... He did not like our response.

Akers would have been unstoppable in this offense

Would have loved to have big Marv on the Dline too.

And yeah, Surtain ended up where he belongs.

Should have*

Also, why should we have rewarded him for making a poor decision? You make your bed, you lay in it

There's way too much baggage there. Kid is a hell of a DT no doubt, but he isn't someone that needed to be in our locker room. One thing about this team that is so great is the chemistry. "Me" guys don't fit in well here anymore.

Why would it warm anyone's hearts for a kid to not achieve his dream? These kids make decisions that they feel are best for themselves and their family. Sometimes things don't work out, just like there are tons of kids who chose LSU that didn't have things work out. Having a rooting interest in a kid not having the success he hoped for because he dared go to a school other then LSU is so childish.

Because he would have been a huge upgrade over every defensive lineman we signed in 2018.

You come across as such an insufferable blowhard. Climb off your soapbox and give it a rest.

And no one else wanted him either or did he give up trying to transfer after LSU's rejection?

I wonder how Dylan Moses feels watching LSU having their dream season?

Because shitty people don’t deserve sympathy for not achieving their dreams? I’m roughly his age, I’d rather get paid to do what I enjoy and be fighting in the UFC main event on Saturday and training 24/7 for free than doing what I do for a living, and I don’t feel like I deserve sympathy because I’m not. He’s not a “kid with a dream”, he’s a grown arse man who, by all accounts, deserves to lay in the bed he’s made.
