It's much easier to just take shots at the staff and pretend like it is the staff who just decided they didn't want Hootie.
Yeah. The staff doesn't want him. That's why they had Patrick fricking Peterson tweet him right after he decommited from Alabama, because LSU doesn't want him to come here. I don't pretend to know what the hell is going on here, but that is a pretty strong sign that LSU still wants Hootie.

Cliffnotes anyone?
Hootie decommitted.
At first people assumed this meant LSU.
Nothing immediatly happened.
News starts leaking that LSU has not yet re-opened his recruitment.
Further news that Hootie himself has yet to reach out to LSU...instead had his "camp" initiate contact.
JJ27 making veiled threats that if LSU doesn't roll out the red carpet, this is going to cause problems in N. LA for years to come.

quote:Yeah. Everyone still basically knows nothing. All has been mere speculation, but apparently some posters "in the know" say that LSU has not called Hootie back.
Cliffnotes anyone?

quote:agreed. No way that PP7 tweeted a high school kid who he had probably never even heard of his own accord. It was orchestrated.

quote:Don't make this a north Louisiana thing! North Louisiana has been very kind to LSU recruiting over the years, and it will continue to be very kind to LSU recruiting.

I'm not vilifying the staff. I just stated a fact. I really don't care if they want him or not.

Jordan Jefferson (JJ)
2+7=9 .... JJ #9 at LSU.

I don't know. He claims that he has a very good friend that is inside the whole Hootie circle, or some crap like that.
Who are you?
Who are you?

Don't know, but I can tell you his sources are confused. Miles had a visit ,not long before Hootie Decomitted, with his mom after he heard that they were unhappy with the way LSU treated them and I can assure you Hootie knows where LSU stands.

I'm a kid who loves LSU recruiting and someday my name will be on this recruiting website and you all will be talking about me

Do we stand in a good place?
Posted on 12/21/13 at 11:21 pm to MOT
I don't see what the problem in realizing this simple fact is
Hootie had a spot and it was his and his alone. When he chose to publicly commit to bama (mentally ready or not) that door for lsu closed. While I don't think we stopped recruiting him... 99% of our energy turned to Jamal Adams and it will be there until he publicly states his college choice. If hootie wanted to be at lsu or still really wants that offer, he needs to remain patient and I believe the offer will come.
Your actions have consequence and I believe that it's not that lsu is upset with hootie but rather they have refocused their energy and their promises to someone else.
If the "gates" to north Louisiana get closed bc a kid who committed then reopened his recruitment expecting lsu to jump back on ... Then I don't think it was ever "open" to begin with
