I'm just curious, why do so many so called LSU fans say this so much? Is it some defense mechanism, plan for the worst that way you can't be disappointed? Are you just this negative in all aspects of life? Do you just like to rain on the parade of others? What is the purpose behind so many saying just about every big La recruit is gone? Occasional they are right, but more often its wrong.

We need to send fricking hit squads to North La and pick off all these bama reps and handlers. Ok, a good arse whippin' will probably get the point across. Either way, it's about time we start to #Ride4LSU

Where do I sign up?

Want is one thing, will they really take 3 S and 1 CB with 4 of their last 5 spots?

So called LSU fans - please - get off your soapbox. Posting my opinion on what I've seen. I don't lose sleep over high schoolers. Don't get all arse-hurt over my opinion.

This tells me recruits don't care about playing time as much as they care about being coached up for the NFL.

Wow, LSU has more DBs in the NFL than any other school in the nation much less Bama.

It has gotten to the point where I could care less who goes to gumpsville. Les is steadily restocking the Tigers with blue chippers like Paris, Brown, etc every single year. If Hootie values playing with his HS friends that much then so be it. I am tired of the foolish excuses that we are supposed to buy like they are true.

Coached up for the NFL? wow.

However the one recruit that will be, and has always been the lynch pin of this class is LF.

Watching LF eat up yardage in a gump costume would piss me off more than anything in FB has ever pissed me off. The gumps are not worthy of enjoying his college success. They could care less about kids from the boot outside of the fact that they got him from La. He could blow out his knee and they would just laugh and talk about how Saban stocked the stable and how they won't miss him.

It would piss me off very badly but I wouldn't kill trees over it.

Although I don't doubt it, I just can't believe that they haven't gotten burned trying to buy out La kids. You would think that there has to be one recruit or recruit's dad who is as big of an LSU fan as I am and that they would set the gumps up and totally blow their arses out of the water for trying to buy them.

It just seems like they would get totally busted these days trying that crap every year.

Not on a soap box, I just don't get why "fans" of a team seem to relish predicting bad things for their team, whether its big time recruits leaving (and i can find someone that predicts almost every big recruit will not sign with LSU) or claiming all the coaches will leave for other jobs etc. If you some explaination, I'd love to hear it. I don't see that from other fan bases.

you said "He gone" not I think he's gone, or it looks like he's will sign with Bama, more stating it as fact rather than opinion. But quibbling over semantics aside, why do you want to jump in with that as your opinion? What is the purpose of saying you think he's gone?

I don't either, we have 3 other good S prospects in this class and despite spotty play this year, I think we have some good young prospects on the roster in Thompson and Jefferson. I think the secondary will improve the remainder of the season and should be much better next year.

No reason to post that here. It doesn't help recruiting.

I just love all the "but I hope I'm wrong!" posters on this site

I'm actually quite confident that Hootie chooses LSU

I've seen that too about Clark, I know some have said Jones could be a LB for us. I thought Bama went after bigger LB's? Just curious. I know Humphrey is still out there, are they basically giving up on some of the big name national guys? Sounds like Carter is leaning Fla/UGA now. Hand to UM.
