Is he a WR or a DB at the next level?
Asking since Boutte and Moore are already in the fold.

yeah, unfortunately, we don't write up the schedules
BUT, even if you don't know the talent of the opponents' players, for a WRer you can still judge
1) does he "eat up ground" on the football field?
2) does he appear shifty
3) does he catch the ball away from his body
etc, etc.
But yeah, on HIGHlights I doubt they will show any dropped balls that he has or him having 3 holding penalties on run plays in games. From what I see, as I said...looks like about the 200th best player in the country.

Yes, I know these are highlights playing against mostly guys who won't get offers to attend Stephen F Austin,

What competition does this dude play against? He looks way bigger and faster than anyone. Like a man among boys there jesus.

Looks fast, tall and strong. The only negative thing about him is his offer list. He only has Tennessee and FSU as quality offers. You mentioned Chase, but the guy he reminds me of is Racey. He’s listed as shorter, though.

You see a poor/mediocre offer list quite a bit on guys who are questionable to qualify. Not only do the services downgrade a guy for that but some colleges do also.

WR all the way. We really needed to sign 3 this yr; not for next season but for the one after.
We'll load up for sure next year, but you can't count on freshmen WR coming in and being ready day one. Not that it doesn't happen, but you don't want to bank on it. With a year of college S&C and polishing, Boutte-Moore-Adams set us up for a solid rotation in 2021 after Chase, Marshall, and McMath depart.

Well he's only a 3 star because of his grades but do you I guess.
Don’t buy that grades play a part in his star rating
Zach Evans is known to have grade trouble and he’s a top 15 recruit in the country, there’s been a number of players in the past whom have had grade issues but were still top 200 in the country

Evans is a generational type talent that does not have grade issues. He has behavioral issues. And wait until the 28th, Evans will not be too 32 on 247 any longer. Adams ranking is due to grades and likely not much exposure considering Rivals and ESPN are the ones holding him back.

Didn’t he score low on the ACT and that was reason enough for UGA to let him go of his LOI?
Also, if grades play a big part of the rating then why wouldn’t behavioral issues be graded the same way?
It’s pretty obvious everyone thinks he would be a cancer in the locker room yet all the services at this time have him as a 5 star
Guess we will find out shortly whether he still keeps his 5th star but he should be dropped further imo if we are comparing grades in the case of Alex Adams to locker room cancers

No that is a false narrative that keeps getting spread

Is JB still going to visit USC next weekend IYO?
OAN, you saw where Clemson is trending with Foreman?

Him being in their backyard, it will be hard to stop the SCAR visit, but O will use his in home there next week (probably Thursday or Friday) to try to combat it the best possible.
Looking like Foreman will be going to Clemson. Sucks, but with the haul this year and the DL we are already on for 21, we'll be fine if that is indeed how it shakes out. Long way to go still.

Thanks Vol! How do you feel about Jackson? Is A&M a legit threat here?

Absolutely they are. Said going into this weekend that Bama has gone all in for him and A&M is extremely desperate and they have the final OV. So we'll see how things work out after next weekend.
Posted on 1/26/20 at 5:59 pm to VolTiger13
I guess the real question is: how desperate are we for him? He seems like a must get to me, including Burch

Not sure quite honestly but Wiltfong at least said his behavioral issues are what made him drop him from his top 32 and hinted the entire staff did when the rankings come out.
If I were to assume, I'd assume that behavioral issues can be corrected and doesn't necessarily negate a kids opportunity to go to college. Grades on the other hand are cut and dry. You either qualify or you don't. The percentages of kids that achieve ultimate success(in this case getting drafted) from juco are extremely low. Just a guess as to the difference in rankings between the 2 factors.
I do know Antonio Alfano was purposely kept lower than he deserved most of last year because of a history of behavioral issues through high school. They didn't bump him up until in season highlights hit and then made him top 5 after he dominated all Star practices. They took a chance on his talent but thus far he has shown the initial response was the correct one.
