If that's a 3 star reciever either they haven't watched any film on the guy, or they are just flat out ignorant of WR talent. The ONLY reason he hasn't had a line wrapped around the block for his signature is because he has been a wait and see with his grades. We're in a position to take the risk, but all signs point to him being fine.

correct me if I'm wrong buddy, but have you even seen the 2020 WR class? It's absolutely insane. Not everyone can be a 5-Star, not everyone can be a 4-Star. Stars really don't matter when you come to LSU, we turn all those underrated recruits into All-SEC superstars.

Get out of this thread with that negativity, a kid just made a dream come true and "225Tyga" believes he shouldn't have that right? LMAO dude get a life.

There was an article recently about why Justin Jefferson was a 2 star and the 247 guys said if they have grade issues they really don't look at the guys and study their film also if they don't go to camps and those sorta things

If a recruit has grade or other qualification concerns (testing scores), they typically drop them down to 2 or 3 stars. The purpose is to get the guys who are more likely to qualify a better look.

You can look at this two ways:
1) Our staff believes he will (or has) qualify by NDS.
Or
2) They believe he will eventually qualify but plan to greyshirt him.

Very happy about this one. Go watch his tape-it certainly isn’t his play keeping his rating down. Another close to signing day steal.

Thanks guys. Never knew that.
Always thought star ratings were pure abilities on the field.

you edited your post after you got called out and had multiple downvotes. don't act like you're in the right here, and don't act like you're all happy we got Adams on the other thread after getting called out on this one. take your L and keep moving.

No, reading isn’t hard. You were editing that in while I posted. Look at the times.

Agree with all that Adams is underrated. None of those national guys even know where Magnolia, MS is.

His best exposure was at MS-AL All-Star game and he performed well that week.

Will need to develop but I like his potential.

This prospect reminds me of kids that Ole Miss and Miss State put on the field against LSU...usually one per year. I have never heard of them and all of a sudden they light up LSU and everyone else in the SEC for like 90 yards per game receiving. Thankfully, Adams won't be playing for either of them.
