What’s the difference between WDE and SDE in a scheme? I’m not familiar with how you place guys in a 4 man line.
I understand the positions, but what type of players do you look for each?

Strong side lines up on te side and usually the bigger, stronger runstopper type de and and weakside normally quicker/faster/ pass rusher type...obviously you want them to do both at a high level...but you will see that is the general rule of thumb...

I always look at offer list, final 5 was LSU, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Oregon. That means Coaches evaluations compared to services evaluations, always side with the coaches they know what they’re looking for and it ain’t stars and final composite score. They looking for ability and CHARACTER. That doesn’t show up in score I.E. Z Evans

I think one or two of Carter, Brown, and Koht could also be looked at for OLB. In fact, depth numbers there for beyond this coming season may necessitate it.
