That has the potential to mess up chemistry on a basketball team
So does 2-16.

point guard for what ? hockey ? or some other sport? definitely not basketball if he only 5foot 10 when you have 7 footers out there that can slam your shot down

Hey stupid, you literally have a 5-9 PG right now in the NBA scoring 30+ points on the regular.

Yeah, all those schools in D1 that are running 7' centers out there.

Hickey and Stringer were often criticized, but they were effective in a lot of games. I'd take competence and short rather than mediocre and 6'2".

Yeah, Chris Paul is garbage.

To be fair he has out recruited us in our own state recently. I don't see that happening moving forward but you at least have to acknowledge the fact that he's torn up Louisiana.
One of the kids has family on staff. I believe Mitchell was a package deal. He did ok at Aggy I guess

Mitchell was committed to Stansburry at TAMU. Stansburry was trying to get the LSU job and that's why Mitch "decommitted" because he was going to follow Stansburry

He kind of reminds me of Chris Paul.

Here's hoping. He would be a terrific pickup this late in the season, espedially after we lost Alstork. This guy looks like the second coming of Josh Gray but with a much better shot. Let's hope if we do get him that we can integrate him into the playbook a lot better than we did with Josh. Of course that goes for every returning player.

He was a Duke recruit before they got Duval, and now every Duke writer has CB'd him to us. One must've got some good info and passed it along

Andrew Slater is a Duke and national guy for 247 who is reliable. He had a couple of misses recently, but he had a streak of getting 15 or 20 commitments in a row last year. Most of the Duke fans on Scout and 247 swear by him, so if he says LSU, then it is pretty damn reliable.
If Meyer says it too, then that is really good for LSU.
The bad part is that his dad is considered an extreme stage dad who will be a thorn in the coaches' side from day one. That alone has cooled off a lot of teams from recruiting him.

If true about his dad then the kid is probably going to be a yearly transfer candidate too. Dana ding people typically run when they don't get their way

hope we can get this kid, we need a PG

LSU got 2 more cb's the last 2 days including one from another Duke guy, John Watson.
Posted on 5/29/17 at 11:39 am to tigers32
Watson ran Duke's scout site when it was by far the best site for Duke info. I think he was pretty much the mouthpiece for Chris Collins to leak info.
I think he's at 247 now. All of this is great for LSU. I have also read that Georgetown didn't have much contact with Waters recently so those crystal balls are likely from writers who haven't updated in a while.
