Let's give Pocic back to Illinois.

Apparently you don't know what this thread was supposed to be about.

It is meant to be a positive take on the situation instead of a "sky is falling" freakout.

LSU will be fine.

It will just make beating Alabama the next two years more fun.

it is pretty easy to understand why a recruit would want to go to Bama over LSU

I don't see how some of you cannot understand this

So, I guess that EVERY top recruit is going to Alabama, right?

Wait, I just pulled up the list of the top 25 recruits in America and they are not all going to Alabama. Why not? They must be idiots.

I know all about Alabama. I can give you a lot of reasons why a recruit would not want to go there.

What did I say?

I said I can see why a recruit would choose Bama over LSU.

Why not?

Because he's not heartbroken Robinson is going to Alabama?

1 kids isn't going to make so much of a difference between the two teams.

LSU isn't going to go 7-5 the next few years he's at Alabama.

That trend continue in 2014 class?

How much is it going to hurt LSU overall?

Also, again..."losing the top prospect in the state."

I bet you don't have a problem taking Garrett, Toliver, Mack, Paris, Brown........so on.

Look my point being, the sky is not falling but if you don't think that having your biggest rival come into your state "2 of the past 3 years" and take the # 1 recruit "ok CRob is #2 but it is so close he is a 1-b" in the state is starting to be a problem, than there is really no reasoning with you. This group is great "Garrett, Toliver, Mack, Paris, Brown" but none we are taking from our biggest rival and none of it is starting to be a trend in any state.

What I am saying is, instead of sticking our heads in the sand saying nothing is wrong and this is perfectly normal, recognize this is an issue.

It's a decent thread. Maybe you should just give it up for good.

No I was thinking more along the lines as to his overall outlook on LSU. Maybe his statements about how he can easily see why a Louisiana recruit would pick Bama over LSU. All I see is him in here downing others for their comments and opinions and really adding nothing of substance other than acting like a prick. But carry on Banana Fingers

No it's not.

Why? Because LSU has the ability to go OOS and replace them with guys like....

No, it's not a problem because of LSU's class is unreal.

Now, if LSU was having a problem landing recruits and not bringing in monster class, then sure....I'd agree with you. But they're not and they're bringing in kids from everywhere in the country.

What I'm saying is that LSU can afford to lose whoever they're going to lose and they'll replace them with another elite prospect. The difference between the two probably won't be so gigantic, you'd notice it.

I think most everyone is just mad because there are BAMA posters around flaunting it. I hate BAMA fans too, but I'm not going to let it ruin my fandom.

I love LSU football.

But if I'm a top recruit, and my ultimate goal is to win a championship, I'm sorry, but I would pick Bama at this moment.

Actually if I wanted to win championships I would pick Ohio State. Bama's time is over.
