Leonard was better than Ish and Lanard is way better than Rodney though.

these two are not equatable. Lanard has shown the ability to contribute. Was he SEC worthy? Probably not, but he would have at least got a chance to play at Tulane or LaTech if his last name wasn't Fornette.

The same cannot be said for Sophser.

They are most certainly equatable. Larnard wouldn’t have sniffed a SEC offer if not for his brother. While Lanard looked decent out there the only reason he played is because of the lack of RB depth. Next season his carries will go to Davis and Emery.

Rodney will only get on the field vs cupcakes but so what? LSU has four star players that only get on the field vs cupcakes.

And what if you don't get Ika??? Then you're stuck with 1 DT.

At which position? I doubt he would even contribute on special teams.

So what?!? It doesn’t matter because we have his brother. Y’all are acting like every scholarship player plays meaningful snaps for this team.

A 247 mod finally cleared up what's going on with Rodney academically.

He DID NOT qualify for a D1 school out of high school which is why he did go to JUCO. HE did transfer from a MS JUCO up to an Iowa JUCO earlier this year to play football, but couldnt get cleared for football, so he quit school and moved back home to MS. As soon as he quit up there, he DID enroll in online JUCO classes and will be in school through spring next year. His hope is to be finished up by summer 2019 to enroll at a D1 school.

So it DOES seem like they are serious about the whole Rodney thing and there's potential for him to actually make it in next year to a D1 school.

I think Ika will turn out to be a better player than Sopsher. 1-for-1 would be better for LSU, but I'm afraid Sopsher is headed to Bama.

But what if you can get Ika, and take Ish with Rodney? All three...
I say definitely.

They used to just pay them. Now they have to be a little more discreet

If he gets bigger and stronger, he could be a good depth player. Not to mention, he could learn a lot of technique from O and Aranda.

Honestly, Rodney could benefit greatly from Ish coming to LSU.

Yeah, I don't think the issue is whether the proposal is a good deal for Rodney, or not.
The issue is whether its good for LSU...
