I've been saying this for a while now. I also think that Bama's huge DL class will play a role in him staying home. I think he's simply playing around. I think he might honesty want to go to Bama but I also think he doesn't really mind going to either and will eventually settle down at the home town school not settle for but simply say we'll both schools will get me where I need to go and playing for the home school in the end will have more positives then that other school. I think we end up with his buddy also. Close with Dean, Sopsher, Jones, Lee, another DL or two, an OL, and or TE.

If we had signed a premier back last year (Etienne or Akers)

Double check your facts. Etienne and Akers were in the 2017 signing class not last years 2018 class.

No big deal however Etienne and Akers next year will be juniors.

And that changes what about what he said? Point is Lanard is only seeing the field because we have no elite back this year. If we did, he would've spent his career as a wasted scholly and you know what we'd do it again and again.

I think it’s a moot point to argue anyway because I’m pretty sure Sopsher is Bama bound.
Yea, I feel the same way. But from most people in the know, looks like LSU is in well with Ika.

One is a true NG and the other the best 3-4 DE in country.

Ika is not a back up for losing Ish.

I don't know if she was scheming or not. I also don't know if Sophser'd mom is scheming or not.

No, She was serious. She supported his decision, but really wanted him at LSU. What you saw was a mistake not fake. She didn't mean to show her feelings like that.

I meant that. This is still 2018. But I get the confusion since it technically has been two signing classes since they signed. Sorry I wasn’t more specific.

I see the 24/7 guys have it LSU 64% and Bama 32% .... how accurate have they been in the past?

It was 95% LSU not too long ago. Trending in the wrong direction.

The"negotiation" is what color car Bama & the Sabanistas are giving and whether he wants large or small bills.

Negotiation. Lol.

Some of those CB picks were put in a year or two ago. Most haven’t changed their picks. You need to look for certain people CB picks. Local insiders have the most insite

I was not trying to be a grammar or information expert and my point was we actually went two years without signing a feature running back. I like CEH alot but the last 3 running back signing classes have not been on the level we are used too.

You missed my point in that we actually did not sign a elite back for 2 years not 1. Like I said no big deal, we are back on track this year.

Lanard was a take and so is Rodney and hope the baby brother can shine like LF or close

For those saying don’t waste a scholarship on the brother...take a good look at the ‘15 recruiting class and look how many have contributed very little to nothing during their time in BR. Also note how many left the program for one reason or another. I counted 12-13 that haven’t done much or anything to this point.

Personally I’d hate to miss out on the possibility of Ish turning into an all-conference type player by not offering the brother vs. having him have a stellar career in T-town. JMO

If you go back and look at every recruiting class, you’d be surprised how many guys never see the field

We need to flip Amite as a city too.

Getting Ish and Lee would go a long way doing that.

Review any recruiting class and at best you will find 15 heavy contributors. Having 12 or so is about the norm.

The truth is we go nuts on many of the kids we sign; but whether it's injuries, they get beat out, or they hit a wall many don't pan out.

It's like that everywhere.
