That poster gets shite on so much for being a dumbass, he's not going to miss an opportunity to shite on whoever he can.

Sampson and Howard are good examples of the portal. Players who couldn't find their way at a bigger school and dip down a level to try to find their way. This is good for all involved, I guess except the big schools who lose some depth (assuming they weren't told to look elsewhere).

Yeah, I don't know about that. If it was, he'd have stayed to have Nuss throwing him the ball and LSU would not have hit the WR portal so hard. They clearly something you're not.

Ha…I’ve been around TD for long enough to know who the shite talkers are.

He played in Central as a kid and was part of probably the best youth football team I’ve ever saw. He played QB for them and was a dog.

He’s been extremely good at football since he was 5… sometimes things don’t work out for whatever reason

The “whatever reason” is a lack of consistency effort and desire. That’s been the case since HS. The physical ability is there. The “want” hasn't been.

Drake Davis made plays at IMG against some of the best HS programs in the country

Pointing out how they look inept on the field despite having elite physical skills isn’t shitting on them but rather calling it like it is. Don’t get your panties in a wad

He wasn't a dog at lsu and that was the problem.

I really thought he and Beale would head to Nicholls.

They still may —— since Beale has to win a spot over Howard —- plus, their old coach is NICHOLLS’s OC

Drake Davis didn't want to play football I don't think. His passion was soccer. Then there's always the genes to discuss. Gift and curse?

This board loves to have a villain. Sometimes a change of scenery does wonders to rejuvenate talented players who don't pan out in one place. Just look at Brett Bech and Trey Palmere. Palmer is carving out a nice NFL career and Bech might do the same. Maybe not having to live up to the high bar at WRU works out for them.

I assume you mean Jack Bech.

Those guys actually played while at LSU, just played behind studs

This is different. LSU had to actually go out and get multiple starting WRs from the portal this year. So snaps were definitely available if Sampson could play. They gave him two years and he still couldnt see the field. Says a lot. With that said, I don’t wish any negatives on the kid. Hope the lightbulb finally goes on someday for him
