im thinking the try Upchurch some at RB and some as a WR. I could see a potential as starter sometime in the future at WR and a solid #2 in the run game.

that would open up more spots at the WR position immediately and give added depth if we only take 2 RBs in 2014

6'3" 205# 4* man-child. I like alot. hope he likes LSU alot. LSU is sending a message to all interested parties that we are going large and we are going verticle. I'm hoping that Quinn, Noil and Sims are listening because our national recruiting footprint is getting larger every year.

get better.

His film is definitely impressive. What's his competition like?

Good question. Being from from NJ I automatically thought he played weaker competition. I guess I have a southern bias.

Anyone with incite into that district?

I can't speak to his specific competition, but NJ puts out a lot of quality football players.

NJ has some talent, but to me it appears Blacknall is playing against slow, weak white kids.

I guess LSU has a lot of WRs rated higher on their board OOS than instate. Dupre, Quinn, and Noil better get on the train soon or it might leave.

I was wondering this as well. It is great to get verbal pledges early from such highly regarded athletes, but spots need to be saved for the likes of Noil, Quinn & Dupree.

I suppose the coaching staff will figure out how to make the #s come out the best so that the Tigers will make a serious bid for the #1 ranked class, and also meet team needs.

it is very interesting. for the last few years we couldn't get an oos wr to look this way. now, all of a sudden, they are interested in us. don't know what has changed for fast.

I'm really surprised we didn't try to get more recruits at LSU today. insane no. of draft picks
and pro coaches. this had to be a very impressive event.
