Man I'm so glad Cristobal is in Florida. Keeps a lot of that talent away from Bama.

And Heard may be best OT, will sign , in very long time

Everyone knows he's supposed to be good. Hes a highly sought after recruit. Good enough to start as a freshman? Cuz thats rare as shite and we have that right now and La'el Collins was the number 1 or 2 recruit in his entire class. We have had some really good lineman.
Lineman are not easy to project. You dont know until you know.

I'd say Heard has the potential to be a superstar. A true one.

Those Neville coaches have taken him from "raw" to "rough around the edges", which is quite good. Thankfully they train/work him like can't just dominate which will pay dividends at the SEC level and give him a head start (see Will Campbell).

But he has a way to go in the technique arena, which knocks him out of running for best OT coming out of high school.

If I had to use one word for Heard it would be "brutal". He's got innate power, solid as a rock, and every aspect of his play "attacks", and attacks with power/leverage. He does it with his upper body. He does it with his hands. He fires off with his lower body. That's a difficult thing to train into an OL where they exert force/power with damn near every movement. THAT is his biggest value. From there and the fact that he moves pretty damn well you can mold a top notch OT.

It'll be really interesting to see how the college football landscape changes now that the best south Florida kids aren't Bama and Ohio State locks. Cristobal to Miami might unironically be a parity creator even if he flames out on the field.
