Harvard Eric Wilson leaning towards Penn State nowPosted by Byrdybyrd05 on 1/10/21 at 4:12 pm

All thanks to Jabril Cox deal now we can’t get a graduate transfer this year.

Happened with the corner from Stanford as well. Pretty pathetic.

I get the feeling we don’t have room for him. I think he hasn’t made a decision because he was waiting to see if we have room.
It probably means we’re in good shape with Moko and plan to get BTJ and another cornerback. If we don’t get Moko we can find another transfer as good as Wilson.

Good don’t need a 1 year rental OLineman on an OLine that already returns just about everyone. Get Jordan Moko who has 4 years and can actually grow into a great Olineman.

I don’t think Cox was the issue. Now that our two OG are coming back, Wilson is no longer needed.

With Alexander, the Stanford transfer not finishing graduate school and now Cox doing the same, we can’t sign any graduate transfers for a year.
I dont know where wire, rosenthal Clarke, baskerville, and other jrs that have done very little would go either, but everyone has been waiting for their decisions as if they have nfl draft potential.

Hes definitely the issue per insiders, we can't take any grad transfer right now.

Mehh if we the oline from this year back we really don’t need a 1-2 year transfer guy. Sign one more 3-4 year guy or save the spots for next year.

Regardless, I don’t see us taking Wilson at this point. Even if we could.

I think he was saying our inability to take a grad transfer is a moot point as it relates to Wilson now that Hines and Ingram are returning.

They were taking Wilson to replace Hines as he fell off a cliff the last half of the season.

But you still have to sell a grad transfer on coming into a position battle with a returning starter.
Tough sell.

Despite want this board thinks, Wilson is a one-year guy. There’s no need for him with our entire interior line returning.

He played well before injury at Florida
