re: Harold Perkins interview at UA all american practice

Seems like the pendulum has swung the other way. This is similar to the Scoreboard swing after a slow start that turns into a strong finish. Yet the doomsday crowd still has to rush here to be the first to shite on our Tigers.

I still agree with myself

Some of the comments made by posters are cringe worthy. People judging a kid off a short video and in real life he is a layered person that's been a great tiger. I hope this serves as a lesson the next time some are so quick to judge but I'm doubtful

Well, I stand by most of what I said here. We do need balance in recruiting and we need some top players like Will Campbell in every class who are also bought in beyond just money. I think we see that in this year’s class, too. This staff knows what they are doing.

However, Perkins’ play and attitude this season are great lessons on the new world of NIL. A kid coming in wanting big money is just that. It doesn’t accurately indicate anything else about him. Where would we be today if the staff had passed on him because of his money demands? I will definitely know to separate those things in the future.
