Came in here for a Harlem Berry discussion. Y’all go carry on outside.

Was thinking last night watching Etienne look explosive for Florida, when is the next “dude” coming out of Louisiana that LSU can snag. I really miss that dominant, SEC feared playmaker at the RB position. Especially that home grown kid.

Berry looks to be it. Will be dynamic.

This. He’ll never win a championship at St Martin’s. They won’t ever have enough talent to do so. He might have been the missing piece for John Curtis or Karr

Berry with Gabriel jr at Curtis would be scary.

Highly doubt he would want to play in the split back veer.

We have been "down" in recent years with RBs. About time to step up and get the studs we were accustomed to getting...

Best Louisiana running back since Fournette. Dude is absolutely a game changer.

HArd to tell with the competition hes playing. Players like Ettiene and Guice would put up the exact same numbers.

STM because of the academics. It’s one of the best schools in the state, if not the best.

Just don’t want idiots yelling Geaux Tigers at 15 year olds coming off the field at a high school game. Let the coaches handle recruiting. Don’t need random morons pressuring this kid.

HS games mean far less in today’s recruiting with the camps, showcases, and social media.

That would be false. No one cares about any of that stuff if they don’t know you can ball

Particularly in football where there isn’t “AAU” or “club” football

I love the veer, but a five star who has been the feature back would get a drastic reduction in carries. I think McKnight averaged only around 10 touches per game.

I have high hopes for holly, really curious how his game will translate to college.

You’re not trying to run him into the ground anyways with quantity of carries… quality is more important

I already know that you dislike John Curtis, so I don’t know why you’re even arguing the point.

A five star running back isn’t going to transfer to a school that runs the split back veer.

And he’s already top rated, so he doesn’t have anything else to prove to anyone. I think it’s great that he’s at a small school..

I'd be shocked if Curtis and other local programs haven't already kicked the tires on Berry. In fact, I bet they were on him before he chose St Martin's. I'd also be shocked if he left St Martin's. If he leaves St Martin's, I think he'd end up at a Jesuit or Brother Martin or an IMG.

He's also a pretty good basketball player, for those unfamiliar with him. He stays in basketball shape. Really just a prodigy type athlete, mature, grounded, works hard, and does well in school - a dream recruit.
