Yea I wasn’t thinking straight. It’s actually a post an hour.

Regardless, it’s weird as frick. And your attack on the OP was childish. Which by your post count and being new, it makes total sense.
Again, go spam another board.

I got you fam. Maybe read a little too much into the statement. As far as the IMG thing, just because he's highly rated doesn't mean he wouldn't consider the opportunity if offered. Many 5 stars leave their schools and transfer there. But I see your point though..

Bump. He’s about 40 votes down with 5 hours left. No boat in the race. I would love to see the kid be a tiger.

He will have his work cut out for him on Friday when they play VC. My buddies son plays for VC and their defense is good..

Berry has carried ST.M on his shoulders all year. They'll go as far as he can take them Friday night in Abbeville. If I'm the Vermillion Catholic DC, I stack the box with 8 defensive players and ST.M will only have 6-7 who can block. Clearly a mismatch that favors the defense. "If" Harlem can get past the initial line of defense he's gone as no one will catch him. Honestly, I think this game plays out like LSU vs. ALA in 2015. Fournette was the Heisman frontrunner averaging 195 yds per game. Saban stacked the box with more defenders than LSU could block. #7 ended up with 31 yds on 19 carries and his Heisman dreams were crushed.

I don't think ST.M has enough studs & talent on either side of the ball to hang with VC for 4 Qtrs. If ST.M can force turnovers resulting in more offensive possessions than VC, they'll have a chance. Berry will have to rush for 150+ yds and 5 TD's for the Saints to advance to the SuperDome. Would love to see my alma mater play for a State Championship; however, I think VC dominates the trenches and wins by 2 touchdowns.

Blaze, I've watched Berry's highlights from this season and I could have sworn that he's scored more than 1 receiving TD, 1 kickoff return TD, and 1 punt return TD. It also seems like he has caught a hell of a lot more than 7 passes the entire season.

But then again, several of those big plays on his highlight tape could very well have been called back.

Regardless, this kid is the most dynamic playmaker I've seen in LA since Fournette.

I would think VC will dial up a few zero blitzes and send the house on 3rd and long. Hopefully the ST.M QB can read defenses and audible to a wheel route where Berry would be an impossible to defend.

As a 15-yr old Soph., Berry’s running style reminds me a lot of Joe McKnight who would hit the hole and often times cut back across the field. By the time he’s a Sr. and puts on muscle weight, Berry could be a clone of Travis Etienne. 5’11” 210 lbs.

I honestly can't think of a decent comp for his running style. His ability to cut on a dime and change direction at seemingly 90-degree angles in a phone booth is almost other-worldly.

My younger brother played QB at Holy Cross in the late 80’s. He had 25-30 offers and verbally committed to Oklahoma State. Several recruiting visits were in Stillwater during Barry Sanders’ Heisman year. I can still remember my dad saying how Sanders couldn’t be tackled in a phone booth. You think Berry has a little Sanders in him ?

I know who this is. Edit your post bro so you don’t dox yourself.

And, by the way, both you and your brother were terrific athletes.

That's it. That's the comparison I was looking for. It's Barry Sanders.
