Are you also pre-viewing Notre Dame and St. Charles Catholic? If so please share the link when it is ready.

Word on Airline is that it is a possiblity...

Answer me this question… how is transferring to IMG Academy going to increase Berry’s recruiting ranking / profile, and provide more highlight film for CFB teams to evaluate his talent ? Berry’s name is already out there and colleges are fully aware of his projected talent at the next level. Additionally, the education he is receiving at STM is beyond anything that IMG has to offer.

His profile is already there as a Soph. and will rise as he gets older. St. Martin's is losing a LOT of players after this year, the vast majority who block for him.

Of course, his current education situation is superior, but IMG=NIL$$$.

St Martins is going to do nothing for him as a college prospect. Get into a real development program & play against tougher competition. He will be better for it

Do kids normally just go there for senior year? Or junior and senior year?

I guess P5 offers before his first game as a soph requires so much development as a prospect

I’m fairly certain you missed the point. He will have every offer in the book. St Martins & the competition he plays does not challenge him & prepare him for college, though,

The same way he wouldn’t stay at West Jefferson if he had the acumen and want-to to be a brain surgeon. He’d want to go to Jesuit or st martins or one of these fancy charters. Business decisions

LSU had a 6’4 8th grader commit to them to play QB and processed him by his SR year of HS. Didn’t develop how they hoped. Guys get rated high all the time and end their HS careers barely in the top 500. There is a lot of time for him to get better, worse or stay the same. The point people are making is his current school will not help him improve his game as well as some football factories. That’s common sense.

That’s a post every two minutes for a year and a half.

OP could have offered Berry candy from his van and I would have thought that was less weird.

This… the first hit he takes in college football will feel so much harder if he isn’t taking hits from future college defenders now

They have underclassmen as well. Desmond Ricks was a junior at IMG at the start of the season before reclassifying as a senior mid-season.

Leave the kid alone, man.

I guarantee Southern Lab hits hard. And they got beat by the team he’s facing this week.

Clean- are you covering the VC/St. Martin’s game in person or just writing up a preview?
