i think he would have better numbers here than vandy don't you? I mean he will have better athletes to throw to and a better run game plus how do you think vandy will do against sec defenses every year. He would get crushed

Miles O philosophy is run to set up the pass. Vandy will center it's O around Kiel; they've made this clear already. It's not the athletes around him, it's -- in a word -- attempts. He'll get much more of those at Vandy.

What I hope Miles and Krag et al have made clear is that here he'll have a much better quality of attempts, and way more "field" cred, even with less guady numbers. There's nothing really to work on with the guy accept arm strength, and that's the least difficult thing to improve in a QB coming out of HS. Kiel could put up Hodson-like numbers here with the luxurious supporting cast he'll have around him.

you might be right but I just think lsu is a much safer choice. He may be the next cutler but cutler took alot of hits and if he came here he wouldn't have to carry the team

Maybe different guys want a different experience? I don't see why more highly recruited guys don't go to smaller schools, get instant playing time and more experience. Other kids may think a national championship and national exposure is more important than early playing time, and a pass friendly offense.

You never know what these guys are thinking even if they publicly say something else.

Out of the schools mentioned, he will get his best coaching here without a doubt.

Having a coach like krags 1 on 1 is unreal.

This depends on the Team LSU is playing and can change from Game to game. If you look at the years LSU did have a decent QB they weren't the key to winning in every game. With Les it is not the run first or the pass whenever it is ball safety. Do not turn the ball over whatever the cause, It is PROTECT THE BALL FIRST no matter what.

I do believe if he decides to come here he will be given the chance to play as soon as possible. Les has said it all year about Freshman playing. If they play at a High Level and play well they will have a chance to play early. i do believe he will have a chance to play as soon as this next year, maybe the first 3 or four games then if he really takes off then he may be starting by the Auburn game that way he will have 2 weeks before Bama or it will depend upon the New schedule format with the addition of Mizzu & A&M to the mix, you get the picture anyway, to hone his game and with the talent that will be around him he can not/will not fail and LSU will have in sight another Crystal Ball. JMHO!

Your honest opinion is very far off. Unless Mett gets hurt the kid will not start next year. By all accounts, Mett has looked great in practice.

We need to have a frank and honest discussion about when and why nouns are capitalized.

this is how i see it:

year one- RS
year two- RS freshman- no playing time
year three-Some playing time
year four- full time starter
year five- full time starter (if he doesn't leave early)
