Maybe he's waiting until the day after Christmas so that he can stop by the mall to take back his Notre Dame gear, and exchange it for LSU clothes. It's a contingency plan, just in case Les Miles' FedEx package doesn't make it time for the announcement.

Maybe Gunner decided to postpone the public announcement until Monday because he doesn't have any LSU Tiger gear to wear for the media address. If that's the case, I'm sure that Les Miles has a special gift (LSU hat and shirt) on it's way to the Kiel residence via FedEx.

Let's consider some other factor, outside of football, that works in LSU's favor with regard to the recruitment of players from the northern states. The girls in the South look a whole hell of a lot better than the girls in the North. Believe me, I know this firsthand! You'll see 10 times more of this in Louisiana than you will in Indiana!

I've been up since 4:00 AM, sick with a nasty cold, and I've got 2 wild toddlers running around the house, wrecking the place. This day isn't off to a pleasant start...I need some good news in the midst of this chaos!
