I never worry about receivers at LSU

How many years will you bring Underwood? It was one dude FROM Michigan who decided to stay in Michigan. Dave Portnoy and Larry Ellison bought him. That is not going to happen to every player every year.

but that's what Underwood was doing too
That is not my recollection at all. Underwood was giving LSU lip service but not actively recruiting players. And as things approached signing day, he got quieter and quieter about LSU.
For me, the better comparison is Keylan Moses. People were very concerned about him flipping because of his brother but all the while he was recruiting players to come to LSU. There was always some concern but that made many of us hopeful he would follow through, which he did.

Great WRs don't come to LSU by magic.
Reputation helps, but it takes a lot of work.
And resources.

Hearing anything about Jase Matthews? Adding him to this Wr class and it might very well be the greatest WR class in school history, which would be saying a lot.

Underwood did the same thing.

Underwood ended up at the school closest to his home town.
For Keys, that's LSU.

Look if Bill Gates, or Elon Musk girl friend tells him no more bjs unless he buys him for USC or Florida etc we are fricked just like everyone else in the world. Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen again.

The rise in money doesn't always win out, but can help the other schools chances. Most of the time, it has to do with how they fit and if the money is close enough. They will stay put for what is best fit rather than the money. Keys will be a Tiger!

Yet seems to be having little, if any, impact

LSU has restructured Keys' NIL package which has increased confidence in a stick.

You don’t see all the Tennessee chatter on Twitter anymore.
