He is a transfer, so how it the heck should he count.

It’s been covered. This is what I recall of it. He’s a transfer from a D2 program, a level which doesn’t have athletic scholarships. Since he has never been on scholarship, he counts by the rules. He is technically not viewed as a transfer by the NCAA, but as a new signee.

Kicker appeal. I think I heard Orgeron saying they are asking for another appeal to NCAA as graduate transfer. If this stands, the graduate transfer rule will have undergone huge changes this year. I think thats one of the things the NCAA will look at when they review this in a year.

GOodrich. Losing 2 cornerbacks plus Xavier and saivion gone.. we need depth at cb

Hopefully Brennan or narcisse can run the show for two years while we get another qb

Surtain
Chase
Goodrich

Foster is not accurate enough......forget the QB for now.
Go for broke in the 2019 class !!

I think what's happening is LSU is doing everything it can to get a waiver for the kicker to not count against the 25.

Between that or finding anyway possible to 'manipulate' a scholarship (grey shirt someone which I'm not very familiar with, etc) to get all four on board - Surtain, Chase, Goodrich and Foster. The fact that ALL four are visiting is promising and indicates something must be in play, especially since Keys and Foucha canx as it is evident we don't have room for them.
Good luck to the staff IRT making this work!

Do not want foster. not as talented as Narcisse, not as polished as Brennan. It would take him 3 years to start anyway

That’s ideally what you want. QBs should learn and develop for a couple of years and then start two years.

Unless you play for bama or Georgia than it's ok to make it to the NC their first year at QB

I'm in this boat. I think Goodrich will ultimately be the better player but you can't pass on a good qb.

Why is everyone so obsessed with landing a QB? We have two very highly rated sophomores plus McMillan as insurance. That’s plenty. We can recruit two next year if need be. We don’t need 5 starter quality QB’s on the roster

Because there are rumblings of LN calling a buddy at a different school contemplating not hanging around and McMillan will likely transfer. This is part of the reason for the recent grad transfer qb.

All of what you just said is 110% false and speculation.

Rather goodrich unless you can get Paul Tyson, he is a 6ft 4 pro style passer. He is Paul bear bryant's great grand son or tua's little brother who is also a qb. Tua was the freshman QB that won a title for the tide 2017 season. If last few spots are out of goodrich and foster. I'd rather goodrich any day of the week and twice on Saturday :)

Foster is a take. We need qbs.. A well known HS coach on 247 did an eval on Foster and I liked what I read about him. I don’t see McMillan being good enough to play in the Sec so if we can land Foster then they need to take him.

It’s like some of you haven’t watched LSU football over the past 10 years or so
