Whether QB is a big need in this class or not depends on who we are in on for the 2019 class at QB. Gunnel is commited to Texas A&M so he has to be a very long shot for us. I don't see any in state big time QB's for 2019. Maybe we really do need a decent QB in this class because we might be left on the outside looking in next season and be forced to sign another long shot like Linsey Scott in 2019 just out of necessity.

It depends on how things look after this week's player visits.

The coaches should have a pretty good idea if they have a good shot at landing Foster. If not, make Goodrich a comfortable offer and go for Gunnels and other out of State QB' s in 2019 class.

You need to start bringing in a quality Q.B. every year. It's a hit or miss position.

Foster is not accurate enough......forget the QB for now.
Go for broke in the 2019 class !!

And if you can't get a good one in 2019, this team is in trouble. They need one every year. Good teams apparently accomplish doing so.

Why is everyone so obsessed with landing a QB? We have two very highly rated sophomores plus McMillan as insurance. That’s plenty. We can recruit two next year if need be. We don’t need 5 starter quality QB’s on the roster

God how can people be this dumb

Goodrich... Foster needs development and will wait to start if he ever does. Goodrich could make an impact first year.

This. Given Toliver and Lewis departures, need DB depth right away.

Both views are right. We need a quarterback and a cornerback. And both views have valid points. I'm assuming the staff has a plan and will have a better feel for the situation than any of us. It will interesting how this plays out.

Keep in mind that Kelvin Joseph can also play CB and LSU is deep at Safety. Next season has several top CBs ready to go, as well. If the last spot goes to Foster over Goodrich, LSU is still in decent shape at CB.
