Uh oh looks like Gilbert can go to Georgia Tech instead and really sharpen his blocking skills for the triple option.

My only question to that, how do they maintain the 85 limit?

Was listening to a guy from 247 talk and he mentioned how they’ll ask a few guys to grey shirt and then give them a scholly the next year. It’s kinda crazy but from what I understand is completely legal.

Greyshirting is totally legal. They just have to get guys to be willing to agree to it, which apparently they have no problem doing. Buy, when greyshirting, the guys will have to count against the next season's class limit. So they're kicking the can down the road a bit.

But I really think some of the guys that are reported as signed are really walking on for a year before going on scholarship. All recruited athletes count against the 25 player limit, but there's a very specific definition of who qualifies as a recruited athlete and I don't think it would be too hard for a program like Alabama to get around this.

Take Paul Tyson and Will Reichard, for example. I think these guys actually walked on in 2019, even though 247 lists them as signees.

Um, Will Wade is still coaching at LSU and last I heard, that NOA from the NCAA still hasn’t found it’s way to LSU’s mailbox. LSU self-imposed a bowl ban when they were 3-5. The NCAA hasn’t done anything to us.

And the sec office/administration is in Birmingham. It should be moved to Nashville, Pensacola or New Orleans. F... the cheating gumps, saban and the corrupt sec administration.

You do know that GT stopped running the triple option 3 seasons ago? I’m hoping UGA and Tenn get in some trouble and Gilbert ends up back at LSU. Yeah, he quit on his team but he’s too talented to turn down. He’ll have to earn he’s teammates trust again but he can be a difference maker

If he goes to Georgia he’s wasting his time. He’s not gonna beat out Darnell Washington.

His High School QB is at Tennessee I heard on one of the talk shows a week or so ago.

But they are turning into a total shitshow, with half the team in the portal. That would be a terrible landing spot.

Yet Alabama continues to go untouched year after year. Yes everyone cheats, but it’s not policed the same across the board.

Saban is disciplined enough to not get sloppy.

At the beginning of the football season, Dan Patrick said he was told by his source that a couple coaches were getting sloppy with recruiting. Looks like it maybe Smart and Pruitt

Scholarships are actually renewable/reviewable on an annual basis (not a 4-year free ride).

I assure you that Gilbert would beat out Darnell Washington. He’s much more polished in all phases of the game.

They gave Ish's fat arse an accord rather than a Charger?

If I'd change jobs it would be NCAA investigator/compliance officer. They get the biggest cash hand shakes in the United States.
