That’s no kid; he is a mature young man. Glad he is a Tiger!

We are getting some great kids. From what I've seen at these all star games these kids seem very coachable; they work hard and I think will be great leaders.

I came away really impressed with Jacory Washington this week as well - seems like a quiet but fierce competitor.

Amazingly mature and level headed 18 year old. I'd swell up with tears if that were my son.

Seems like an articulate, well grounded young man. I will be proud to support him during his time as a Tiger.

Cliffs:

Said announcing on national TV wasn't his thing, but didn't knock those who did so.

When asked "so when these guys say they didn't make their mind up until tonight, do you believe them?" and answered with a quick "no." When the reporter started laughing, he explained that for a great period, he genuinely did not know, but...his dad would always ask "if signing day was tonight, where would you go?" And there was always one school that would pop up in his head. Still, up until the week he picked, he had no clue. But the 3 to 4 days until he announced, he knew.

It was always FL/BAMA/LSU, and the day (? or week ?) of his announcement, talked w/ his family. He felt like the time was right, so he "pulled the trigger" (sounded like any ???s he had about where to go was settled the week before his announcement and so he spoke with his fam and decided to let his pick be known publicly).

It was a big relief...best sleep he had that night since he was a small child. People respected his decision and he respects others' decisions.

Said he's not the type to push LSU "on you" (other recruits). Wants people to choose the place that's best for them. (editor's note: I like his philosophy, so I'm still going WTF over GWIII's choice to the UF dumpster fires).

blahblahblah what he did this game and going on to college to compete for playing time.

Is it just me or do we have a lot of high character guys committed this year?

this x 1000
nothing to really back this up.. but I feel like we've had the talent but haven't had the leadership since the Dorsey days..
Should have plenty in the coming years.

He's 17 years old. He won't turn 18 until AFTER he reports to LSU.

Dang. He's awesome, never heard him speak before. Can easily see him being a reporter's favorite interview.

Stud player too.
