This kid seems like he will be a true Leader. he is well spoken without coming across as fake or cocky. seems really confident, but also grounded and humble.
Looks like we got a great one.

Very touching video and speech. Thanks for raising a very well mannered Tiger Wildman.

That young man will be successful at whatever he does. Y'all should be so very proud.

Wildman...all b.s. aside....that was an incredible speech your boy just made. Incredibly articulate and gracious. Not that this is surprising to me, but to find that combination of superior athletic talent, without ego and with obvious superior intelligence and communication skills is just unusual...in a good way. It is clear that he credits where and who he is to his mom and his old man....and that is GREAT to see. Seriously, I don't care what he ends up doing (I hope its making a billion dollars in the NFL), you've done a great job. Think I can send my kids to hang out with you and your wife for a few months?

Let me be the first to recommend and also predict that Garrett Brumfield wears # 18 at least one year at LSU. Hopefully he will become the first multi-year bearer since it has become an award to wear it. He could certainly wear it his junior and SENIOR seasons.

Wow that speech was awesome! He's definitely one of my fave recruits and one that I will follow long after his days at LSU. He's gonna have a job at ESPN one day

I was feeling you wildman. You have good reason to be proud. Looking forward to seeing him opening up defenses for more Good Times. .

Screw the football for a moment, what an awesome, powerful parent moment. Just a well spoken, intelligent young man acknowledging all of those that have supported him in seeking to fulfill his dreams.
While the journey is not over, do take a moment and be proud not only of Garrett, but of yourself and momma wildman. Obviously, he comes from good stock, but you have done a great job guiding him too.

Man that sounded like a Hall of Fame speech. I wish I could speak half as well as Garrett does one day.

Wow, he's actually a really good public speaker. I'm assuming he's had experience.
Wow! This kid will be on an NFL Sunday round table with his communication skill set. Fab LSU football spokesman - very natural. Can't wait.

After watching this video Garrett is now one of my favorite players. What great pride you must have in this young man. I love his mama's quote about wanting something so bad like the air you breath. I could feel your pride and wish your son the best that LSU has to offer. The future looks great for LSU with this natural leader paving the way for great running backs in the future. Geaux Tigahs!
