For those who don't know how we stand with Peppers

Michigan received a commitment from 4 star OT Juwann Beatty, Peppers teammate. They have always said they want to play together with the same college and He was already high on Michigan.
He tweeted that he was Committing in June and it seems we did enough to earn top 4, but were out of this now.

LSU remains in the mix for Jabrill. Ohio state out and Penn state in. Still considered a heavy Michigan/Stanford lean

Tony Brown, Edward Paris, Hootie Jones, Devin Voorhies, and Chris Hardeman make this not that big of a deal

Even if he commits, if we can get him to come down for the A&M game, we have a shot IMO. These kids go through roller coasters. NOBODY is a lock.

Really? Its almost best that he isn't coming here then. Add Daub to that list as well.
These handlers are too sketchy at times.

When it's all said and done we will have at least 2 db's out our class that end up better players. Right now i could give a daammnn about any other defensive back not named tony brown or hootie jones.

It's April. In Ryan Perriloux's recruitment, he wasn't even committed to Texas before coming to LSU. In the Jai Eugene/Perrish Cox saga, Jai was committed to Michigan and Cox wasn't yet committed to us.
Committments are happening way to early IMO.

While I agree, I don't think his recruitment is over. He said he wants to go down in history as the best CB to ever play college football. He won't do that playing at Michigan or in the B1G. If you want to be known as the best you have to play with and against the best and that's in the SEC and will be for awhile. He will probably commit in June to Michigan, but his recruitment will be far from over.

Unless something drastically changes before now and NSD, Peppers is not coming to LSU.

Don't need him. More than likely an undersized safety in the SEC. Similar to Matt Elam.
