This is not crazy to me, because all the texas insiders are enormous, next-level homers. If they have any chance at all they will say that they're the favorite, and if they're even a small favorite they will act like it's an absolute done deal with no questions asked.
I'm not saying that it's NOT texas for jonah williams, but if you piece together all the info from the various sides it seems to confirm--or at least strongly support--the idea that the texas insiders are just way overconfident on this one. I believe even wiltfong hinted at this the other day--he said something to the effect "well if you take the insiders at face value then it sounds like it's texas, but I'm not sure anyone actually knows." Even this RPM seems predicated on nothing more than texas's internal confidence.
Interestingly enough, it seems like the one constant no matter who you ask is that LSU is in the top 2 or *maybe* 3. I wouldn't bet my life on it but

It’s odd, he posted a puke emoji on Lockett’s commitment to Texas then left Texas off of a poll of where fans wanted him to go. Texas was not even in the conversation before Schloss made his move. If he really committed to Texas off of one visit and their baseball coach he’s unfortunately making rough decisions.

No he isn't - he's wrong all the time or he just wait until last minute and puts pick in when everyone else knows

I wouldn't count us out on signing him but I don't he's committing to us on Saturday. I'm not losing any sleep over this one, I've said it before, I think he's one of the most overrated prospects this year. Freak athlete but he really doesn't like contact, I would still take him obviously, but not at an absurd cost.

Williams has hid his intentions better than anyone we have followed in quite a while. I don't think anyone knows where he is going.
