I guess you haven’t watched Oregon football for the last 25 years. They have built an elite program and now NIL is going to put them over the top finally by allowing them to go out and pick whatever players they want.

They will be a force to be reckoned with for the rest of the 20s at least.

The truth is we need Phil Knight to have a "Donald Sterling-esque" controversy, forcing him to step down and thus closing his massive checkbook.

Oregon can only be elite if they're paying more than everyone else. They're simply too far away to attract southern kids if they don't come with huge bags.

Even if they just sign all the best talent from California and the rest of the West Coast they can be elite. There’s an absolutely huge number of people living there.

Southern Cal was elite when they were doing that in the 2000s under Pete Carroll.

Crazy part! They showed California Top 10 players yesterday non of them was committed to USC. If that continues I don't see Lincoln lasting long at USC.

Good program sure. Elite program absolutely not. 0 national titles ever and pay top dollar for all of their recruits. More like aTm of the west coast.

What do recruits owe coaches? Coaches certainly have no loyalty towards the kids and chase the biggest check when it comes time for a new job. I love how so many on this board think the concept of money doesn't apply to 18 year high school players.
