Thats nonsense why sabanless bummer us recruiting with lsu and ohio state right now? Dont give me bummer has more nil than lsu because alabama as a state falls in every poor category as louisiana plus with 2 competing flagship schools that lsu doesn't have to compete with in state

Nice to see Raymond picking up right where he left off.
What’s he supposed to do? Pay the kids out of pocket?

Brad Davis is going up against the same competition as Raymond but he’s delivering.

Fong just said he sees it as a 2 team race between Miami and Oregon
Only reason lsu even had a chance was from Corey Raymond coming back from Florida

Ah yes. I love chances instead of commitments too

Why is everyone expecting him to land 5 and 4 stars in his FIRST yr back? So what he is Corey Raymond and had success in the past. That don't mean he come in first year and make an immediate impact just because he has been here before and knows the lay of the land. I fully expect CR to get the Talent level of DB back up at Lsu but give him more than 6 months to achieve that before saying what yall are saying. Its just not right to pass judgement on a man so early without seeing the fruits of his labor first

Luckily he’s got a contract that’s easy to cut bait with if he can’t get it done

Well he doesn’t have a single corner commit so far and he lost the only commit we had, from his home town nonetheless, because the Florida schools apparently started recruiting him harder. Yeah I think I will judge him, given his rocky start here as well as what his recruiting has looked like the last few cycles here and at Florida. Dude needs to lose his ego and start pulling his weight on staff or he can get out of town by season’s end!

Sure looks like big bags were dropped. LSU couldn’t match up
He can commit now but like so many of these kids they change their mind a lot for
1. Attention
2. Parents want to ransom one school against another for more money
3. Season hasn’t started yet so if Oregon has a bad season facing stiffer competition than they did in the PAC12 and we all Miami is just all flash and no substance, he will likely change it again no matter who he commits to now. Most of these kids are prima donnas and love being showered with attention and free crap and the parents/others in family or inner circle always have their hands out for more.
Wait till signing day then you can panic if we have a crap class.

Y’all act like he has never brought anyone good or been partly responsible for coaching up some very good DB’s.
Derek Stingley
Jacoby Stevens
Grant Delpit
Kristian Fulton
Jamal Adams
Tre’Davious White
Donte Jackson
Kary Vincent
Greedy Williams
Jay Ward
And he brought Davin Gauchaux, Kayshon Boutte and Patrick Queen
And the list that he coached up is long and distinguished

Okay and then look at his last 2 years here

lol recruit these guys hard for a year and then some school who can’t win games offers a blank check and takes them after recruiting them for a second.
That’s why all this is so absurd and pointless. It’s just silly to care about

The knock on him towards the end of his time here is he got lazy. Florida fans said similar things about his time there, including he was always left at the altar.
I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt because his resume is impressive, but I would say he has the shortest leash of anyone on the staff. All the other coaches on the staff are pulling elite talent so don’t tell me it’s NIL.

One thing that jumps out at me is that all these kids committing to other schools are supposed to be picking their schools based on big bags of cash, but the top recruits that select LSU don't like money? Seems odd.

Corey pull out the check book! Offer Pickett 800k for his commitment we need him.
Let's get real people this is all about NIL with Pickett, Moore, and many more. Every battle that involves Miami, Texas, and Oregon will be about money. Yes, It sucks to lose a bidding war but what are the chances of the players starting year 1? See what happened with Zalance Heard not even starting wanting more money.
Corey has no control over what LSU nil offers.
