That list is not updated. Not even close to being accurate

These are the kinds of tards who are perpetually fricking melting in here. Half of them don’t even know where to find valid and current recruiting rankings. fricking hell.

I get that there are legitimate issues with defensive recruiting at the moment. But if you can’t be bothered to go find some up to date information, just take your arse back to the fricking rant and stay there.

LSU is not a household name anymore. They aren’t going to compete for titles with this staff and we don’t have the NIL money that other schools have. The days are gone when 5 stars would do the “can’t see me” gesture after picking up an lsu hat

Let’s not sugar coat it. This is a bad class in comparison. 6th best in SEC and if you throw in Tx and Ok they are
8th. That is not going to cut it!!

I don't think any of this is unreasonable criticism. There are only 2 caveats: The portal could be a buyer's market for Kelly and 2025 looks to be a beastly class at this point.

One way or another a decision needs to get made so they can move onto retaining current players and recruiting this class and 2025.

LSU is about to clean up on individual player awards, but they aren’t a household name? Ok. The top 1/3 of the SEC are all household names.

What are your thoughts on the start of the 25 class? Explain how your opinion lines up with that reality.

We used to be a hat on the table for most big name players. Now it’s uga, bama, osu, Texas etc. we get 3 and 4 stars while the others are getting 4 and 5

Every year you guys say that next years class is going to be great. Louisiana is loaded for next year. And then we fall through out the year in the recruiting rankings

Yeah, it really fricking sucks that we’re about to sign the #1 QB in the class to go with the #1 WR in the class

The class rank for LSU has always been dependent on the talent in-state for that year. It was just average this year. It will be great next year.

Ya'll want everything to be rebuilt over-night and it just will never be that way here. Just know they are getting solid players to build the roster numbers backup to where they need to be. 2025 will be a money class.

This is why LSU cant be successful right now....because of fricking idiots like this. LSU has a shot to have the #1 overall class in 2025. This 2024 class was not LA standards in terms of talent. The pool is full next year and despite your ridiculous comments about not being a national brand....Here is what is really happening:

LSU is about to win its 2nd Heisman in 5 years.
LSU vs FSU and LSU vs Bama were two of the top 10 watched football games this season. Bama was on their twice as well.
We are currently in the mix for the #1 overall player...a QB for the first time in modern era who could sign with LSU.
We have a chance to sign the #1 qb #1 wr and #1 rb in the same class.
with the 2024 class...We have a chance to build much needed depth with players who will be committed to the NIL era of college football and LSU.

Several guys are underanked, too.

I really love the LB & Safety class, too. These are huge needs

Who is elite on the other side of the ball? Who elite is committed to play DL? You know this is kind of important otherwise you have a Heisman QB and 3 losses because the other side of the ball sucks donkey dick

Look, ideally you want to land top end talent in guys like Bussey, Miller, Simmons, e.g., that put your class in that next tier - and college football proves that out in the programs that have staying power.

But you have to look at everything in context. Look up and down the roster and there are very few areas that you don't have elite talent and depth - it's really DT and corner only - and that is what it is at this point. That is a long term rebuild regardless of this class's ranking. 2025 and 2026 are loaded in Louisiana, so you will only improve on the roster as well.

Moses is a pretty good start to the 25 defensive class, is he not?

I have always acknowledged the issues with defensive recruiting. Fix the staff on that side of the ball and better recruiting will follow.

My derisive comments are rooted in the bullshite narratives that the entire class sucks, that Kelly can’t recruit in general, or that we have no NIL money. Today it’s that we’re somehow no longer a household fricking name.

When the recruiting struggles are on one side of the ball only, the reasons for that are obvious. And so is the solution.

Holy catastrophe syndrome Batman. LSU is still very much a national brand. Brian Kelly is about to have back to back 10 win seasons on his first two seasons of a rebuild. By January 6 it will be very possible that the 2024 class will already have 3 5 stars committee already (2 of the 3 out of state guys btw). 2023 class offensively is very good and defensively I think underrated. Yes it sucks not having elite DL players committed because we really need that and I won’t make excuses there even though I do think this is largely due to having weak position coaches on that side, but there is still a chance Reliford flips which will help. Fix defensive coaching and I think a lot will fall in place.

I don’t understand you chicken littles that refuse to look at anything good happening.
