Sadly, I think he's Texas bound. Their mods are actually pretty good and honest, and both said they are more confident than ever yesterday after speaking to multiple sources closely connected to him, even a coach at Duncanville.

I told this board months ago that NIL would decide Simmons' recruitment and the downvotes came. LSU's staff even knew this.
I'm sure the LSU visit was great but you have to understand that Texas was NEVER letting Simmons go elsewhere. It was an open checkbook. LSU never had a legit shot at actually getting his signature.
