BATON ROUGE, LA
CLASS OF 2027
UNDECIDED
LSU could be even tougher to beat now that the Tigers offered one day before the 2027 five-star quarterback visited Alabama but his trip to Tuscaloosa went really well. The family noticed some “subtle differences that were intriguing” with how the Crimson Tide coaching staff handled some things and they briefly talked with position coach Nick Sheridan. Auburn, Florida and others are in the mix but this feels very much like LSU is out front for the Baton Rouge (La.) Dunham standout and Alabama has intrigued after the weekend trip.

Crazy as it sounds, the great teams recruit 3-4 years in advance, and build from that work.

The QB position, to be specific, is usually very early to commit to a school. This has been the case for quite a few years in CFB. Now, there are always exceptions to any rule, but most of the top QBs choose early and become the building-blocks for highly-rated classes of the premier programs...

I agree.

NIL is a big deal.

Relationships are also a big deal.

Money talks, but at the end of the day, a player wants to be at an environment that's comfortable for them.

Right. I don't think people realize this. You still have to like your position coach and the school. Now there are outliers who take the highest offer. I honestly believe that only happens 20% of less.

Just go away until then, that would work out better for everyone.

It's basically like when you're finding a job. If the environment sucks idc what money is being offered. Unless both comparisons have great environments then money is back into play.

It's crazy to think that he's only a sophomore. Which makes him 16 at the oldest. Joe Burrow showed up 6 years ago. Depending on how early in life this kid gained interest in football there is a possibility that he has no memory of the days when LSU couldn't find a QB. From his class forward, most of the recruits will have only known LSU to be a QB factory. We have come a long way in under a decade.

Deuce is still looking for the right amount of $$, but most QBs pick and then stick...

I still can't believe I'm alive to watch LSU has great QB play and defense is what our main concern is

Zadock Dinkelman, who was apparently still playing college football last year at Texas A&M Commerce.
