He is incredibly athletic and strong. Faster, bigger and stronger than Archie and Walker
Unfortunately it looks like Bama

I've watched him play several times. He's not even close to Hurts, Young, or even the kid they just signed as far as mobility. He fits the mold of their old QB's more like Coker and Mccarron.

I find it funny some in here don't think bama would take holstein.

Looked good in the championship game against Ponchatoula.
Of course I thought Matthews looked way better at receiver than he did safety in that game.

They seem to prioritize smaller guys who are mobile lately. Mac Jones is the only outlier.
Bryce young just happened to be small and he isn't really that mobile. Tua wasn't really mobile either.
Mac jones has run more in the nfl than tua has.

I thought that wasn't a great showing for him compared to other games. He missed a lot of throws and had 3 turnovers.

I guess it wasn't that game. I didn't watch many. Didn't remember him having 3 turnovers though.

I’d take Eli over Arch in a heartbeat

So why does a kid AT a university THAT IS paying players zillions for NIL leave and go elsewhere?
Posted on 3/18/22 at 8:01 pm to Folsom
Sounds like Stanford. Wasn’t his brother a Harvard commit? I’d go to Stanford if I was in his shoes. That degree is an NIL deal in itself.

I figured LSU wouldn't be considered. I don't think he's athletic enough for Bama to push for him
verified SPARQ scores
40 Yard Dash: 4.65 laser timed
Bench Press: 245
Vertical Jump: 38
Broad Jump: 9’6”
3-Cone Drill: 4.28
Those number indicate elite athleticism for a QB his size
You might be confusing him with his older brother who is now at LA Tech but was not very mobile

Perhaps A&M wasn’t waving similar NIL money to what was rumored to have been offered to the class they just signed.

Or maybe he’s got money and it’s not a big deal to him

Didn't Holstein's dad play at LSU?

Following Friday’s decommitment, Holstein’s father Scott, told 247Sports that his son is currently considering Alabama, Miami, Oregon, Stanford and Texas A&M.
Has to be bama.

Was definitely Bama a few days ago. Watch out for the Canes here. They're offering more NIL. Watch out for Miami in everything going forward. What they're doing is impressive.
