WTF IS GOING ON WITH THIS RECRUITING AND EVERYONE DECOMMITTING

You don't think uncertainty within the coaching staff made some of these kids reconsider??

We're reaping what we sow right now, so there really shouldn't be any shock these kids are decommitting.

Can Harris [or anyone else] be offered a scholarship during the Dead Period?

Zero in person contact. They are still allowed to call.

Caron Baham, a 3 star who also plays for John Ehret, decommitted from Mizzou today and had some crystal ball pics to Arkansas today. Does anyone know if they were close/friends?

Again, not trying to be a dick.
Possibly trying to pull a Nkemdiche and get his bro a good spot on a roster with the dangle of a "package deal"?

If its truly between LSU and A&M, he will go to LSU. Their situation is worse than ours. I think he ends up a tiger.

Hopefully he is just trying to get his spotlight like all the others. Have a big rally at his school and commit back to the tigers.

I only have one question:

If Harris is a quality LB, and from what I understand he is, why has he not been offered already?

Don't know if its been mentioned, but Ponamsky said on C&P this morning that he still fully expects Divinity to commit to LSU from everyone he talked to. Said the kid just wanted to have his "moment" at his ceremony on Jan. 5th to make his decision. He also said the fact that his only other school is A&M gives him even more confidence that we still land him.

Everybody chill and take a deep breath! Divinity just wants a ceremony and the ability to announce his decision at the under armor game in January. He will recommit to LSU. I agree this is very unsettling and leaves doubts, but do you really think Divinity will join the sinking ship in College Station?

Offer Harris and get Divinity back. Complete win win situation for us.

True. Typically wary of package deals but it sounds like we need this kid anyway if he's legit.

Need all the LBs we can get in this class. Seems like your classic two birds with one stone type sitch right here.

a&m does not get near the same of exposure as LSU football

a&m may have all the money in the world, but they still don't have the national respect as LSU does.

LSU's recent bad years still beats and trumps a&m's best years. how do you not understand that?

LSU has better overall defensive talent and has huge success putting players into the NFL..

I think he's laughing at the notion that LSU is a better school ACADEMICALLY than A&M.

And that went way over everyone's head in here. It is not. A&M is superior to LSU in academics and that's not really debatable.

The rest of your post is true though, LSU is a better football program in just about every single way.
