Recent article with Ed Paris
said that he is trying to visit all schools that he has offers from. Since he lives in Mansfield he will more than likely watch the Alabama-Michigan game in Cowboys stadium. Would like to get out to California to visit and then watch the Red River Shootout in Dallas and of course the Alabama-LSU matchup. Says that he is keeping his options open and slow playing his recruitment.

Ed Paris Highlights

Just passing information along. How does everybody feel about Ed Paris?

If you have input about Brandon Simmons I would love to hear it as well since they're teammates. Would be a great duo to have.

Brandon Simmons Highlights

Ed Paris far left, Brandon Simmons far right

Just a matter of time, he's enjoying the process. He won't be able to do this again until he's a free agent in the NFL.

I was looking at our offer list this morning and almost all these guys seem as though they will be 5-star or high 4-stars by the time the dust settles. Even better, most of them are extremely interested in LSU.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but Brandon Simmons looks kind of like a younger Laron Landry.

What's the thinking with a 2014 Katrina kid? He would have left LA when he was around 9-10 years old? I'm sure he would still have some family here, and may have some LA pride..but idk if it makes him an LSU lock

CaptainCrown-Ed Paris will come down to USCw and LSU, as a kid he was a huge USC fan, now I would venture to say LSU is even or slightly ahead.

I'd venture to say LSU is way ahead of USC, for now. Never know what will happen if he visits but until something changes, LSU is the overwhelming favorite. The Texas visit is just him vetting all the options. Any Texas fan that comes out of this visit thinking they're legit players at this point, is getting way ahead of themselves. Most Texas folks realize they have a huge uphill climb. The catch for LSU is Simmons. If we slowplay him, it could hurt with Paris. We may get put in a take or leave situation. I say take.
