I’m sure I’ll be around more towards spring. We’re about to build a pool and it’s taking my time up!

I will say that I imagine we flip him probably this summer

BM was in the state finals three years ago....with zero D1 signees

They are a legit LA football program. Bonis does a great job there and it aint easy.

Seems like their Dline and Oline players aren’t as big as they used to be, BM used to have some big ole baws on both sides of the ball. I think BM still has some good playmakers.

If he leaves early and has to get the state issued diploma, then BM shouldn’t be able to use his likeness in school promotions.

Played with him. Funny that no college coach forced our coaches to move him to IOL in his senior year when he was heading to Michigan.

Why shouldn’t they? If he doesn’t play for anyone else, Easton Royal is their guy

I would hope BM would still give him an honorary diploma if he chooses to leave in December and accept a state issued diploma. It’s very rare for these levels of players to come out of BM and be this highly ranked.

Do you mean a "Brother Martin High School Academic Participation Trophy"?
An Honorary High School Diploma; that is totally pointless, I don't think so. Earn or don't earn it.

We played BM in the playoffs this year and they weren’t very good. Luckily in garbage time Royal was able to break a screen pass and really show his elite speed and moves if only for one play. Based on what small sample size I saw I can’t say I’d blame the kid to want to go to a contender or at least a team with a legit passing attack.

Definitely not a bad program. But I’d say BM is pretty mid, respectfully

So you agree it's pointless.

You just made the case for him to graduate early and compete against college guys sooner. He's not going to need that geometry class anyway

He took geometry as a freshman or sophomore at BM
