No, I'm not attacking you. I thought the other guy was focusing on an irrelevant misspelling. I appreciate the info, just trying to help out with the DT's name

Lots of folks appreciate the work of a lot of you posters. I don’t understand why people get so butthurt about minor spelling errors when the body of the post is what is important. Just wanna say thanks for the info to all yall! Yall the reason most of us come to TD in the first place.

Let him go. He’s clearly desperate for cash.

Simeon Barrow I think the more important misspelling is the guy's name.

Bro you’ve got people in here still calling one of the greatest WRs we’ve ever had Nabors….they're not even going to attempt to get Barrow right

This guy is probably not going to be a big time NFL player, so he is trying to max is value now that his demand is as high as it might ever be in his life. I don't blame him! But he's not the difference between LSU being a national championship team and going 6-6.

LSU has plenty of bodies at DT. The probably would like more talent at the position (everyone does). But not enough to grossly overpay for an average to above-average player and risk upsetting the structure of the team.

Wouldn't he have to walk on? TP entrance is closed and he had enrolled.

How does Barrow supposedly strike a deal then what? The deal is broken or he doesn't get his new car or has to go to class? It's a bit suspicious to me.

If/when Barrow and Miami part ways, Missouri seems to be a team to watch as a possibility. He'd apparently signed an SEC agreement with LSU before committing to Miami that would've prevented him from going to any other SEC school, but it now sounds like LSU is going to let him out of that agreement.

Why would he sign an sec agreement with lsu if he was still taking visits? Or was lsu his last visit?

I do remember Miami got in touch with him/agent while at lsu. Just seems weird to sign an agreement.

Do you know exactly what the agreement states?

Nothing surprises me in recruiting anymore.

Barrow actually signed with LSU before bolting to Miami. His signature binds him to LSU if he returned to the SEC. LSU has to release him before Mizzou could even offer. Rumor is that LSU will release him, but hasn't been done yet.

If all this is true then he was happy with his nil deal at lsu until Miami called and upped it.

I bet lsu was also offering him a promise to start.
