Well, if Sam says it I guess we don't have anything to worry about right now huh?
They going to go all in and get someone like Simmons but not their own backyard in Mckinley? I seriously doubt it. He probably has even higher priority just because he's in our backyard.
Let it all play out. We'll see who he signs with. I do think Lindsey will play into this decision though. We can't keep continuity there at all and it's just an unfortunate thing nobody could predict.

I do think there’s a fair chance we don’t land McKinely, I just wouldn’t base that thought on something Sam Spiegalman says.

I believe we will get this one. The changing of coaches and now Lindsey having to step away probably is a little concerning but we are still LSU and BK is the highest level of professionalism we have had in a head coach. I think we get the #1 guy in the state!

I think something we have to grapple with is the % as it stands today, and projecting who we end up with based on the plan in place and the process unfolding. For instance, look at Ju'jaun Johnson's situation. In January, it looked like he was leaning out of state, and did in fact commit to Colorado. At the time, people predicted he would end up back at LSU, but if you talked to Johnson he would have likely said he was 90-100% locked in.

OU is in serious trouble with lots of questions around Venables as a head coach. I wonder what the chances are of flipping McKinley if he commits elsewhere prior to senior season.

This approach is fine and just as logical as any but it's double-edged. Flip the roles of Mckinley and Simmons and you get the same. When should we be happy? And about who?

Yeah I personally could see him ending up there. They've been grabbing a lot of big boys for that DL.

It was his first season. I think people were surprised by 6-7 but I don't think he's on the hot seat.

Frank ain’t closing nothing on Dom. He is going to Texas and the melt will be epic when Simmons goes to Texas as well. LSU will be back in the portal for DLs.
